How to Replace a Sink Sprayer

Tools Required:

Adjustable Wrench, Adjustable Pliers,Needle-Nose pliers (for removing the old clip)

Installation Steps:

1. Remove the Old Spray Head: Use pliers to unthread the nut on the old spray head. Remove the old hose nut, clip, and O-ring from the spray hose. Clean the hose end threads with a cloth to ensure no mineral deposits or debris remain.

2. Install the New O-ring: Install the new O-ring onto the spray hose.

3. Install the New Clip and Nut: Take the new nut , slip that over the end of the hose. Take the new clip and clip it into the groove. Once installed, the clip should snap securely into its groove.

4. Assemble the New Spray Head: Take the thin sheet ,install it onto the hose and then place the thick rubber washer onto the hose over this first thin sheet. Then hand-tighten the nut clockwise onto the spray head .But be sure not to over-tighten it.

Important Tips:

1.Removing the old clip: If the old metal clip is difficult to remove, you can use needle-nose pliers to assist.

2.Installing the new clip: It is recommended to use pliers to push the new clip until it snaps securely into the groove.

3.Test for leaks: After installation, turn on the water supply and check all connections for leaks.
